Infomosaic Releases SecureXML Java Applet For Mac

Article Date: 2005-08-18

Infomosaic announced the release of the Mac OS X version of its SecureXML Digital Signature Java applet, which is compliant with W3C standards.

The release supports the Firefox and Netscape browsers and provides access to the user certificates stored in the browser's certificate store.

It is supported on both the Mac OS X 10.3.9 Panther and the Mac OS X 10.4.x Tiger operating systems on PowerPC based Macs.

It doesn't require any client-side installation or setup, so customers are able to deploy web apps to many users without administrator rights.

On Windows, the SecureXML Java Applet integrates with ActivCard Gold and Litronic NetSign CAC middleware for CAC demographic data access.

It also allows private key access for signing with IE and Firefox, and works with both Sun and Microsoft Java Virtual Machines when using IE for document signing.
